Do you know how cool it was to watch Tone Lōc thrown down, right in your face?! If you’re not immediately familiar with his name, you definitely are with his music, no matter what generation you come from. You’ve also seen him as an actor and voice actor in several films, including Fergully and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. If you’re reading my journal, you have seen that movie, or at least know of it. If you were old enough to grow up with and remember 90’s pop culture, Tone Lōc and Turbo B shouldn’t be foreign to you. …and if it is, well then now you learned something new. Here you go: an evening of old-school hip-hop in an intimate setting.
